Job Description:



Strong SAP ABAP Techno-Functional consultant with exposure to SAP R3 Modules SCM/FI-CO/HCM



Should possess hands-on experience in the following areas:



· ALV Reports

· Batch Data Communication and Processing

· Module Pool programming

· Smart Forms and SAP Script

· Interfacing Technologies – RFCs, BAPIs, ALE/IDOC and EDI

· ABAP Objects

· SAP Enhancements - Customer Exit, User Exit, BADIs – Classical and New and Enhancement Spots

· Switch Framework

· Dialogue Programming

· Web Service development/WSDL interfaces

· ABAP Webdynpro (desired)

· .Net skills (preferred)



Experience and Education: 8 to 10 years in SAP ABAP with a Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science or any other related field



Desired Profile:



· Independently drive for results and consistently meet deliverables on projects with aggressive timelines. Work with a diverse team of Functional Analysts, Test and Support resources and consultants across multiple disciplines.



· Collaborate with global development team members to ensure clarity on deliverables, establish development practices and promote knowledge transfer.



· Drive Technology Architecture decisions. Create technical design documents. Ensure that code meets development specifications and is maintainable (comments, supporting documentation) Create and execute unit tests exercising the code’s functionality and compatibility with other features prior to turning the code over to test team. Resolve code issues raised by analysts or test teams.





· Ability to proactively identify issues and coordinate resolutions.



· Provide accurate, timely information to the project stakeholders through regular development status reports and Identify risks and issues and develop recommendations/mitigations in collaboration with project teams



· Exposure to a global delivery model, including coordination with US based technical/functional resources.



· Experience in creating technical specification documents based on functional requirements.



· Design smart technical solutions for different business process requirements.



· Good knowledge on implementing SAP notes and fixes as and when required.



· Ability to come up with estimates based on different levels of specifications at different life cycle stages of a project



· Ability to implement the Enhancement and switch frame work as per the business needs.



· Strong communication skills
