Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

SAP FI Functional - Hyderabad 3-5 yrs

Experience:  3 to 5 years of SAP Functional experience in SAP FS CD or SAP FI functional.  Prior experience as a member of an implementation project team is preferred. Minimum 5 years professional experience (previous consulting, software application/system implementation and/or specific functional industry expertise) in Finance, Accounting, or Customer Service business solutions.  Prior experience as a member of a implementation project team. 

Two years experience in analyzing business requirements, needs and objectives and map them to the SAP processes, solutions and products that are being implemented.  3-4 years of experience in systems analysis and design in more than one module (FS-CD, BCA, GL or Cash Management) and Implementation of the one or more of the following solutions as part of a project implementation team: Finance, Accounting, Customer Service etc…


Essential Responsibilities

·          Analyze requirements submitted by the various business units and determine what clarifications are needed in order to have complete and clear documentation of requirements that meet ADP standards for the FTS (SAP) system;
·          Communicate effectively with ADP on site functional coordinators for the receipt of assignments, as well as the completion of all tasks related to assignments given;
·          Assignments must be delivered on time and with quality;
·          The analyst must be capable of interpreting written feedback submitted in various forms, ex. E-mail, defect logs, and revising documentation based upon the feedback received;
·          Conduct parallel efforts working with releases already in Production, new releases under development, and service packs and system upgrades.
·          Provide 24/7 Production support to End-users, IT Development, QA, and Computer Operations and other business units.
·          Performs various planning, analyses, documentation, and decision making activities in order to complete project deliverables assigned on a timely basis.
·          Production Issues maintenance: 1) Create, monitor, and review process. 2) Prioritize pending issues in accordance with their urgency and development efforts to meet preset deadlines.
·          Work closely with IT Development team to clarify requirements.  Ensures that business requirements are being met.
·          Review and interpret business requirements to determine what business processes can be accomplished through standard (SAP) configuration and identify gaps for IT development efforts.
·          Work with IT to develop those requirements/business processes that cannot be met through standard configuration.
·          Analyze requirements and its impact on system performance.  Present recommendations to business units to revise requirements to avoid system degradation without compromising on risk exposures.
·          Develop/document/perform Unit tests for configurations, developments and system upgrades before transporting them to QA.
·          Assist in developing QA test scenarios and preparing documentation. 
·          Develop user-friendly documents on procedures for business processes.  Assist in providing training support to HRD and business units.
·          Provide support to Project Managers, Business Users, IT Development, QA and Computer Operations. 
·          Identifies and implements process improvements for SAP configuration which increase organizational capability for delivering products that meet requirements.

Experience to include:
  • Ability to review and interpret business requirements received for new functionality or enhancements to existing functionality within an SAP system;
  • Coordinate clarification of requirements and additional information needed for requirements from the submitter to ensure requirements are clear and detailed enough to move forward with design and development;
  • Create process flows that clearly and accurately reflect business processes being addressed as part of documentation for new or enhancement development efforts;
  • Perform a GAP analysis that defines what functionality is already in existence that can be leveraged upon for new or enhancement development efforts, and also specifically identify what functionality will need to be developed as part of the GAP analysis. This analysis must include any SAP standard functionality not previously used that can possibly be used in support of design;
  • Possess a good working knowledge of SAP systems and be able to apply the knowledge when contributing in design activities;
  • Perform mapping of Legacy processes to SAP modules/transactions. Must have experience in Identifying, documenting and resolving Gaps in SAP standard functionality to meet new business requirements.
  • Prototype potential SAP solutions through demonstration of standard SAP transactions.
  • Utilize SAP oriented methodologies and toolsets such as ASAP, Solution Manager or other life cycle management products.
  • Requires experience in at least two full cycles SAP Implementation for large/complex projects.
  • Worked with end-users and programmers to define and deliver business requirements.
  • Excellent Communication and Presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP master and transactional data, including User Exits, as well as interfaces with other modules. Knowledge of ABAP is a plus.
  • Project Planning and Scoping experience.  Familiarity with project methodology and lifecycle.
  • Must have Project Management experience in an IT group and work well with business/finance functional members.
  • Development of QA test scenarios and supporting documentation.
